Miracles happen every day, all around us. We just have to be open to seeing them.

A miracle is defined as an extraordinary event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency. But if we look closely, we can see that the world is full of events that could be considered miraculous.

For example, have you ever stopped to consider the sheer complexity and beauty of a flower? Or the way a baby’s tiny fingers and toes are perfectly formed? These are miracles that we often take for granted, but they are truly extraordinary events.

Miracles in all kinds of experiences

Another way to see miracles every day is to pay attention to the small acts of kindness that people show towards each other. A stranger holding the door open for you, a friend offering a listening ear, or a loved one bringing you a warm meal when you’re feeling down – these are all miracles in their own way.

Miracles can also be found in the moments of synchronicity that seem to happen out of nowhere. Have you ever had the experience of thinking about someone and then running into them unexpectedly? Or of needing something and then having it appear in your life just when you needed it? These are all examples of the miraculous ways in which the universe works.

Surrounded by miracles

So the next time you’re feeling down or like nothing is going your way, take a moment to look around you. There are probably miracles happening all around you, if you just know where to look. And who knows – you might just be the miracle that someone else needs in their life today.
